Lunch Box Banana FlapJacks
Looking for a little sweet treat for the lunchbox that is nutritious, tasty & won’t come home again?
These Banana Flapjacks are great for a nibble as a snack or make a nutritious lunch box treat (fun to make with your children too)
Ingredients:
3 overripe bananas (roughly mashed)
50g melted butter
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
250g of rolled oats
60g raisins
1. Preheat the oven to 200c/ gas mark 5. Grease a baking tray (whatever size/shape you have to hand).
2. Mix all the ingredients together in a large bowl.
3. Tip onto the baking tray and use the back of a wooden spoon to pat it down.
4. Bake for around 20 minutes until golden brown. Leave to cool in the tray and then cut into squares.
proceed to wrap, snack, pack and enjoy!
