Chocolate Stress Balls
The method for making these stress busting balls is simple but the science behind their anxiety reducing powers is not. The nervous system is complex but many studies have supported the effectiveness of nutrients in feeding our nerve cells and supporting the circuits that are responsible for producing feelings of stress and anxiety.
Studies show that magnesium and B Vitamins are among some of the nutrients that support the nervous system and brain. B vitamins play a variety of roles in keeping the nervous system happy. They are nutrient calmers, supporting our nerves and cells. Magnesium has been directly linked to the reduction of anxiety in a number of studies (some are listed at the bottom).
Eating foods high in these nutrients will help you to manage stress and anxiety in day to day life better.
If you are anxious or stressed what better way to feed your body than to combine foods containing these two nutrients into a creamy cacao chocolate ball.
