Cauli Crust Pizza
The perfect pizza base for getting some extra veg into your children or for the gluten free pizza eater.
The base: 2 cups of grated cauliflower, 1 egg & 1 cup of chopped mozzarella.
Grate the cauliflower with a cheese grater or whizz in a blender.
Steam or microwave the small pieces until soft.
Mix in a bowl with the mozzarella before stirring in a whisked egg.
Flatten the mixture onto a baking tray (forming a pizza round) Bake for about 25 minutes at 180c or until golden brown.
Next for the fun bit – choose your topping
We created a tomato base by gently frying some chopped onions before adding a can of chopped tomatoes and simmering for 20 minutes.
Spread the tomatoes onto your base and add whatever your children love.
